Welcome to Blackwater Kennels located on the Blackwater River
of Smith Mountain Lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

Blackwater Kennels is owned and
operated by Kassi McLaughlin. We focus on breeding, raising, and
training exceptional puppies. We follow a very selective breeding
program, which produces puppies that demonstrate the breed standard
in health, conformation and temperament. We are committed to
preserving the integrity of our breeds, while continually striving
for excellence by selectively choosing our bloodlines.

All of our Argentine Dogos are thoroughly tested for genetic
defects. Puppies are Vet checked, vaccinated and de-wormed before
being placed in their new homes. All puppies are sold with a strict
contract and come with a health certificate and full guarantee
against genetic health problems.
We take pride in the puppies that we produce and are very careful to
ensure that they are being placed with loving, responsible owners.
We screen all prospective puppy buyers prior to approval. We want
to be confident that they have the knowledge, ability and time to
provide a responsible and loving home for their new puppy. We are
happy to provide advice and support to you for your puppy as you
both adjust to your new life together.
